Refund & Cancellation Policy

Because we sell edible oils — a sealed, consumable food product — returns are limited for safety and hygiene reasons. This policy explains when you can cancel an order and when you are entitled to a replacement or refund.

1. Cancellation by you

  • You may cancel an order free of charge any time before it is dispatched. Contact us at tararanifoods@gmail.com or +91 82082 66746 with your order number.
  • Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled, but the returns terms below may apply.

2. Cancellation by us

We may cancel an order if the item is out of stock, there was a pricing error, your address is outside our serviceable area, or a payment could not be verified. If you had already paid, you get a full refund (see section 5).

3. Damaged, leaked, wrong, or missing items

We pack oils carefully, but if something is wrong with your delivery you are entitled to a free replacement or a refund. To qualify:

  • Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Share your order number and clear photos of the outer package and the affected bottle(s).
  • Keep the product and packaging until the issue is resolved.

This covers items that arrive leaked, damaged/broken, expired, sealed-but-wrong, or missing from your order.

4. What is not eligible

  • Opened or used bottles, or bottles with a broken tamper seal (except where the seal was already broken on arrival).
  • Returns requested only because of a change of mind about taste, aroma, or natural batch variation.
  • Issues reported after the 48-hour window.

5. Refunds

  • For online (prepaid) orders, approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within about 7 working days of approval.
  • For Cash on Delivery orders, approved refunds are made by UPI or bank transfer to an account you provide.
  • Delivery charges are refunded only when the entire order is cancelled by us or the whole order was defective.
  • If an online payment is captured for the wrong amount, it is declined and refunded to you automatically, and we notify you by email/SMS.
